Apple’s Senior Vice President Phil Schiller criticized Samsung for using what he called old technology, for example. During the actual event, phone maker HTC mocked the presentation on Twitter.

The Galaxy S4, which includes technology that scrolls pages based on eye movements, scored a huge headline and photo on the front page of the New York Post, for example. Articles declared Samsung the marketing winner in its smartphone battle with Apple.
